Aluminum Type MC Cable with triple e® Aluminum Alloy Meets or exceeds the requirements of UL Standard 44,UL Standard 1569 for Type MC, ICEA S-95-658(NEMAWC70)for O-2000 V Non shielded Cables, Federal Specification A-A59544(formerly J-C-30B),IEEE 1202(70,000BTU/hr) Vertical Cable Tray Flame Test, and the American Electrical CODE®.
CONSTRUCTION
Aluminum Type MC Cable is constructed with Type XHHW-2 conductors rated 90℃ wet or dry, and a bare equipment grounding conductor. The Conductors are AA-8000 series Aluminum Alloy compact stranded. A binder tape is wrapped over the conductors with interlocked aluminum tape applied over the assembly. Aluminum interlocking armor is applied over the assembly.
